o Coordinating the presentation of course materials to between 70 and 100 trainees in various industrial training program settings

o Instructing industrial trainees in the absence of regular course instructors, checking the development of verbal and written quizzes and proctoring during mid-term and final exams as required

o Conducting instructor training workshops, seminars and forums in order to improve teaching techniques and overall instruction



Qualifications • University Degree in related field with seven years of experience or Masters Degree in related field with five years of experience required

• Candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivator with a demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a group of ESL training instructors, have excellent time management skills, excellent command of English with fluency in the related subject matter and excellent listening, writing and oral communication skills

Description: The Instructor must:

1. be a university graduate in Electrical Power Engineering.

2. have minimum of 10 years experience in the filed of Protection and Controls in large power systems with Large generation, HV Transmission and distribution equipment performing the following:

a- testing, calibrating and maintaining of different types of electromechanical, static, microprocessor and numerical relays (used in; Generator Protection, Bus-Bar Protection, Transmission Line Protection, Transformer Protection, Feeder Protection, and Motor Protection ).

b- reading and interpreting all types of electrical and electronic /logic diagrams and use them in troubleshooting of protection and control systems

c- testing, calibrating and troubleshooting power line carrier equipment and pilot wire relays

d- testing and calibrating electrical and electronic measuring instruments

e- testing and connecting potential transformers, current transformers, interposing transformers transducers

f- testing, maintaining and and troubleshooting of Automatic Voltage Regulator Relays and compensators

g- maintaining and troubleshooting battery chargers

h- function testing of circuit breaker schemes

i- function testing of generators, transformers, transmission lines, feeder and bus-bar protection schemes

j- have past experience in method of isolation procedures and grounding procedures.

k- have clear working knowledge of computer based power dispatching control systems, data acquisition, SCADA system

3. 2 year in training in the field of protection and control teaching all the theoretical and practical subjects related to same field.
