Roles and Responsibilities



* Knowledge of traditional voice technologies

* Ability to analyze end-to-end TCP/IP protocol trace to identify network connectivity issues

* The ability to solve complex technical and selling situations with proposed resolutions

* Cisco and Avaya certifications, CCNA, ACA, etc.

* Knowledge of DEFINITY PBX and Avaya Communication Manager solutions is very desirable

* Must have strong knowledge of Cisco switches, routers & VoIP

Roles and Responsibilities





Looking for a software test engineer to engage throughout the full software development cycle. Responsibilities include defining the test strategy, plans and procedures. Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and maintain test scripts using a framework for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the development / product lifecycles. Design, Develop and maintain modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy testing requirements. Work with technical staff to prepare and maintain a test environment in which to execute the testing process



* Assist in the design/development of test automation scripts using test Professional automation tools

* Demonstrates ability to apply quality control principles and theories

* Assist in the design/development of detailed testing plan(s) and then integrate them with the project schedule

* Contribute expertise and continuously improve the automation test process

* Work with other automation testers of other projects to share expertise and build knowledge base

* Design reports for communicating analysis of test data and metrics, and communicate the results to project team

* Assist Test Engineers to interpret, and summarize the results of the analysis

* Capable or prioritizing tasks according to assigned risk

* Responsible for own project-related deadlines

* Solves complex issues in the best interest of the organization where precedents may not exist

* Champions the risk-based testing approach

* Prepares testing estimates for proposed application releases

Qualifications and Educational Requirements



* B.Sc. Computer science or equivalent (Masters Degree is preferred)

* 2+ years object oriented architecture and design experience using UML

* Development experience in .Net and/or J2EE is a plus

* Deep understanding of software architecture and design best practices, patterns, and methodologies
