Job Details:

Roles and Responsibilities:



* Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning

* Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (Call center, IT and Finance & Logistics), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions

* Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence

* Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls

* Organization of fiscal documents

* Regular meetings with Executive Director around fiscal planning

* Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management and development so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales (covering relevant areas of operation – ex. sales, distribution, administration, etc.)

* Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management and development

* Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales

* Manage and develop direct reporting staff

* Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements

* Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization

* Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-optation with the executive team

* Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care





Qualifications and Educational Requirements:



* BSc. Of Engineering/Science or equivalent years of experience

* Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills a necessity
