Manager, Commercial

Position Tile: Manager, Commercial


Reporting to : Senior Manager, Downstream

Location : Egypt, Cairo, Maadi



i. Key responsibilities:

1- To provide commercial assessment with coordination from relevant sector within the company and other lead coordinator of other sponsors. To table to Senior Manager for discussion with sufficient analysis done on items that require decision by the Finance steering Committee.

2- To manage/ lead either directly or indirectly via the project finance team of our joint venture to ensure specific process and deliverables defined in the approved finance plan are being implemented to safeguard the company’s interest and liabilities.

3- To lead within the company to ensure coordination of information and approvals with all relevant departments such as Legal, Finance, Gas Business and branch Office.

4- To oversee the activities of the junior commercial analyst. Provide the necessary guidance to achieve deliverable and to ensure quality.

5- To assist Senior Manager in providing strategic value assessment for the new business opportunities in Egypt.

6- To develop Business networking with the other sponsors and advisors to the projects to strengthen present business relation and externally for potential growth in the business.

7- To assist Senior Manager to develop the division competencies in both human resource (talent pool) and infrastructure (i.e. system and process) to meet challenges in managing the present business activities and indentifying new business opportunities in Egypt specifically and the region in general.

8- To inculcate company values within the project finance team by identifying opportunities such as process and proven system into the company.

iii. Other Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Management/Administration or Engineering, preferably in the area relevant to the Business.

• 8-10 years experience in managing commercial contract preferably in the LNG related business. Experience in dealing with other international companies in a joint venture establishment

• English Fluent speaking and writing
