Procurment & Logistics Manager.

A multinational power station company is looking for a Procurment & Logistics Manager.


Responsibilities:

•Drives the sourcing Action Plan on a day-to-day.

•Guarantees the quality of the products delivered to sectors/BUs (right of veto on delivery).

•Receiving Daily Purchase Requisitions and processing the relevant Purchase Orders.

...•Contacting the Vendors to proceed with sending the P.O. and ordering the requested items.

•Following up with the non closed P.O. with both the Vendor and the requesting Department.

•Updating on a monthly basis the vendors list to add or delete them.

•Negotiating wit vendors and contractors to get both the best price and highest quality.

•Resolve all supply chain issues affecting material Quality, Cost and Delivery associated with sectors/BUs.

•Specify logistic processes in support of business activities including development of kits and delivery to projects locations

•Improves functional standards, processes, tools and methods towards operational excellence.

•Drives action and improvement plans to analyse and reduce unfavourable costs in timely manner.

•Manage Logistics day to day activities & ensure clearance of shipments on timely manner.

•Control contracts & report any onshore contract problems/issues to Sector/Business Units in due course.

•Act as central purchasing & facilitate with Sector/Business Units purchasing needs.

•Develops the required sense of urgency within the organisation to achieve sectors/BUs needs.

•Working under SAP Application modules For Purchasing and Payable and Logistics

Qualifications:

•7 + yrs experience in the procurement and logistics field.

•Good knowledge with the local market.

•Quality, internal control and logistics knowledge.

•Fluent English.

•Knowledge of ERP sys. Preferably SAP.

•Good communication skills.

•Skills of influencing and problem solving is required too.
