Job Description
The Department of Information Technology at Misr International University is seeking a FULL TIME Senior Software Developer with outstanding C#/ASP.NET skills and experience. Candidate should be at ease with developing web applications, worked in creating GUI rich web based applications for end users. A minimum of 2 years of C# development experience and over 3 years of ASP.NET development experience is a must.
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications in a client-server framework, and should be motivated in delivering high quality solutions on time. A Background in developing enterprise solutions is required as well as the drive and motivation to set and achieve goals and grow with Misr International University.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, develop and document applications and solutions based upon defined requirements.
* Deliver commitments on time, with quality, and requiring limited supervision.
* Work with other members to understand user issues and develop solutions.
* Provide friendly and effective end-user technical support when required.
* Demonstrate a commitment and dedication to our clients, our products and our University.
* Adhere to all policies, procedures, and guidelines defined by MIU and IT department.
* Be an expert who can effectively demonstrate our products to the IT department and our clients.
* Effectively interact and communicate with colleagues and clients as necessary.
* Assist other members of the department with tasks as needed.
Skills
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline is required. The following skills and knowledge are required to be considered for this position.
* A minimum of 3+ years writing and delivering Web based applications using ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, MSSQL Server, Ajax, Javascript, JQUERY LINQ
* Strong knowledge of object-oriented development using C#.
* Strong knowledge of writing complex stored procedures, functions using TSQL.
* Strong knowledge designing and developing reports using SSRS
* Practical experience with Web Services is a plus
* Must have strong knowledge of working with TFS or similar discipline
* Extensive problem solving and debugging skills.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully balance multiple tasks and timelines.
* Motivated to work in an exciting and fast paced team environment with aggressive schedules.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus
* Experience designing a product from the ground up is highly desirable.
* Leadership skills and ambition will give you a serious edge.
