Business Planning & Development Supervisor Job

- Issue recommendations of investment in the current business in order to maximize profitability.
- Lead the financial evaluation of new product launches and business strategies.
- Build the company budget and estimates.
- Manage and maintain the company financials to ensure that targets are met and exceptions are highlighted.
- Monthly animation of the profit and loss in comparison with budgets and estimates.
- In conjunction with the Financial Controller, manage the monthly closing for the company for the two business units.

- Working with the Financial Controller, manage the financial reporting to the group making sure deadlines are met.
- Control and communicate the Commercial, Marketing & overheads spend.
- Maintain a strong link with the zone business Controller.
- Keeping up to date with economic and business developments throughout the working day
- Keeping up to date with overall business trends
- Performing research into the market, customer trends, and competition in the market
- Using quantitative and qualitative techniques to collect useful information
- Deciding whether or not this research is useful and using it as necessary
- Preparing detailed business plans which cover relevant goals and objectives
- Looking after the company's financial resources and allocating them as appropriate
- Liaising with other professionals in the company and in other companies, including account managers
- Networking with employees from other companies and potential customers
- Attending workshops and trade fairs
