Maintenance Manager

Job Description

· Manage all activities of the Maintenance Department (Equipment, Utilities, Vehicles…) to ensure that defined or set objectives are properly attained.
· Supervise, coordinate and contribute in the construction of the manufacturing plant (Civil work, Roads, Planning…)

· Conduct routine inspection of plant equipment, machineries, facilities and buildings so that maintenance needs are anticipated and planned.
· Organize and implement preventive maintenance schedule in order to maximize equipment reliability.
· Liaise and coordinate with concerned sectors on maintenance activities and production work schedules so as to deliver required services with minimum disruption in operations
· Perform technical analysis and evaluation of major problem areas of maintenance so that they can be minimized through elimination of failure conditions
· Plan and recommend alternative or better operating methods and procedures, workable material control systems, revision or improvement of equipment designs or practical substitution of spare parts and materials in order to minimize maintenance cost
· Initiate orders and follow up on required spare parts, materials and services to ensure availability of such goods as the need for them arises.
· Plan, organize and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure prompt and efficient completion of jobs handles.
· Monitor problem areas of maintenance and devise ways and means to eliminate such problems.
· Ensure that maintenance materials, spare parts and all inventory items for maintenance are readily available
· Coordinate with production to ascertain appropriate maintenance needs of equipment so as not to jeopardize operations
· Maintain appropriate maintenance records in conformance to approved ISO procedures in order to have reliable references for review and reporting of maintenance activities.
· Monitor and keep records of employees’ performance, make periodic evaluations on the same and recommend plans for training and further development of such employees.
· Resolve employee related problems or other matters affecting their performances and ensure that morale of employees are kept high to sustain their interest on their job.
· Implement company policies and procedures, monitor and follow-up compliance as applied to areas of responsibility
· Employ latest Quality improvement plans and procedures such as Gemba, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc…
Requirements

1. A graduate of mechanical engineering with eight years practical experience in a heavy processing industry, preferably in Composite Material, Pipe Manufacturing Industry and preferably GLASS REINFORCED PIPES.
2. Additional five years supervisory experience required and must be adept in handling people, capable of fluent self-expression both orally and in writing.
3. Desirable: Knowledgeable in GLASS REINFORCED PIPES manufacturing standards, metal welding, fabricating process and applicable codes.

· Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

• Manage execution of the instrument/ electrical maintenance projects including design and installation, and modifications of new and existing facilities to provide needed upgrades of site facilities.
• Provide direct assistance and troubleshooting hardware and software problems on all plant instrument and electrical equipment. Specific equipment includes the plant electrical distribution system, distributive control systems, programmable logic controllers, etc. Direct contact with field problems with technicians, supervisors to implement maintenance activities in a safe and efficient way, while providing the technical training for the associates.
• Evaluate and maintain the preventive maintenance plans. Also includes any ISO applicability.
• Provide engineering expertise in the design, application, operation, inspection and maintenance of electrical and power equipments.
• Provide technical direction into the development of preventive maintenance.
• Briefing technicians on a daily basis about their daily tasks.
• Assisting in the training of technicians on instrument/ electrical subjects pertaining to plant equipment. These subjects may include distributive control systems, programmable logic controller, electrical equipment troubleshooting.
• Following up the accomplishments of tasks as per instructions and evaluating them.
• Help ensure all engineering and technical functions are performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• Implement engineering changes and ensure they are effectively integrated into existing systems
• Review engineering designs, make recommendations, and help manage required engineering resources and processes
• Reports trouble shooting problems to the maintenance manager. The report includes analysis of the problem, reasons of occurrence, suggestions and solutions
• Reporting to the electrical support department of the machine supplier any problems pertaining to the spare parts.
• Review all electrical circuit diagrams for all control panels in the CW 3000 factory and adjust the drawings to be as built.

Requirements

· BSc. of Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 07 years of experience into maintenance in an industrial environment.

· Very good spoken and written English.

· Excellent computer skills.
