Warehouse Manager Job - Tagoury's House

As a Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehoused goods. To achieve this you have to manage people, processes and systems. Ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.


Responsibilities:

1. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
2. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
3. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
4. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
5. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
6. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
7. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
8. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
9. Coordinating with the higher management
10. Site inspection reporting, maintaining records
11. Controlling records of the third party
12. Management of warehouse materials and supplies
13. Stock inventory control
14. Shipment receiving, processing of documents and inspection of goods
15. Handling all warehousing and logistic activities from time of purchase orders/ invoice is issued until consignments reach their final destination.
16. Optimum management of mini/max
17. Level stock replacement, movement, loading and unloading, supervision and storage.
18. Organizing/ reconciling materials to protect it from determination, ensure quality checks.
19. Monitor movement of goods from one location to other for transshipments and relocation.
20. Storage or deliveries of assignments of materials to their respective locations.
21. Controlling and monitoring inventory with the internal and external auditing teams.
22. Preparation and submitting of aging reports, monthly stock valuation movement to the management.
23. Special care is taken for storage principle.
24. Safety as foremost concern, all junior and senior staffs must be made aware of safety procedures by the safety rules and standards lay down by the company.
