Fleet Operations Planner
Reliance Logistics is one of the leading logistics services in Egypt
- Prepare the monthly and daily operation plan with ETA of trucks based on STT.
- Generate Planned vs. Actual report on the number of trips and throughput.
- Set target for the fleet based on STT, standard load and special loading/trip conditions.
- Plan and manages the driver’s shifts to arrive before ETA emphasizing on reducing the idling time of the trucks.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department regarding PMs and repairs.
- Plan money needed based on the planned/forecasted quantity in the operation plan.
- Communicate to the Logistics supervisor the trucks needed for PMs with creative ways of reminding and tracking.
- Provide KM readings update for the maintenance department.
- Analyze delays in operational process and implement changes to save time.
- Track ETC of maintenance jobs and escalate upon delay.
- Reporting output:
- Monthly operation plan.
- Daily operation plan with ETA of trucks.
- Planned vs. Actual report.
- Wasted time ratio for all trucks.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor degree (preferably in Engineering)
- 2 years or more preferably as a planning Engineer
- Very good planning skills.
- Very good communication skills.
- Knowledge of logistics planning techniques in functional area of transportation and maintenance.
- Expert usage of Excel.
- Preferably has background in logistics field.
