Description Installation, configuration and updating of Oracle server software and related product.
Take care of the Database design and implementation.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles assign privileges)
Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
Patch management and version control.
Design, develop, document and strategically organize all technical development work in support of projects involving customer solutions.
Provide technical support for bugs with Oracle, Java & PLSQL Apps.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in oracle and PLSQL related technologies and tools.
Design, develop, and integrate highly complex database systems for internal and external users/clients.
Investigate how software solutions might be used to provide solutions to business, technical or organizational problems and defining the requirements of such solutions.
Design, produce, implement, update and maintain externally or internally software meeting the defined requirements.
Validate, through various tests, that software meets the approved specifications and ensure that they are designed/assembled within operational or technical constraints.
Provide support in the integration of software within a system.
Analyze functional specifications, design and document technical specifications for data manipulation procedures.
Work with DBA’S to ensure systems are performing at expected levels.
Develop and maintain custom reports and queries.
Performance tune queries and reports as required.
Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration, and performance.
Translate end-use requirements and specifications into efficient executable programs.
Develop and maintain technical requirements and design documentation.
