Operation and Production Manager

Operation and Production Manager required for Furniture shop in Designopolis:
Job Qualification:
1- BSc.
2- 2 - 4 years’ experience in similar filed.
3- Excellent communication skills
4- Excellent English command
The job responsibilities:
1. Being involved in the pre-production stage, as well as the control and supervision stage.
2. Overseeing the production process and building up a production schedule.
3. Drafting timescales for each job.
4. Making sure that the production techniques are cost effective.
5. Keeping up with current production processes and finding out if there are new ones to be implemented in the market.
6. Ensuring that the products are submitted on time and are of good quality.
7. Analyzing the nature and cause of production errors to identify design areas needing improvement.
8. Liaising among different departments, within the main design firm and with the production firms (i.e. suppliers, producers, managers, sales team, etc...)
9. Conducting meetings with suppliers and producers to verify eligibility, correctness of payment decisions, and the appropriateness of the services provided by the suppliers’ workshop or factory.
10. Passing on quotations to the finance department of the main design firm to negotiate the quotations with the suppliers and producers.
11. May investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality and maintenance.
