Basic Function(s):
Utilize responsive design techniques to allow maximum user experience and conversion by ensuring that content can be easily interacted with on any device. Strengthens & modifies business solutions by designing and supporting development of a platform used in connection with retail services& serving the travel domain. This platform is to be built by using existing systems, applications & tools, whilst ensuring that the information coming from the back end is displayed properly and in user friendly way on any device.
ØRequired Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor Degree from a reputable university / institute, preferably Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration or Tourism. Post graduate studies are considered as asset.
• (3-6) years of working experience in a similar or related field.
•Experience with mobile applications, smart phones, tablets applications is highly valued as an asset.
•Excellent command of English language.
üTechnical / IT Skills:
•Very good knowledge & experience with Microsoft SQL database, Microsoft Asp.Net / C# .Net programming language & the Razor syntax.
•Very good experience with Design patterns and web technologies of XML & XSLT, Ajax, XHTML, HTML5, java script & CSS.
•Very good experience with geospatial / location search using PostGIS
•Good knowledge of Entity & MVC frameworks.
•Good Knowledge of Java programming language & web technologies of WCAG.
•Fair knowledge of My SQL database.
