NileSource is currently seeking qualified candidates
for the position of "Transcription Agents"
The job consists of transcribing audio files into text
via computer using our online application or
through an external application, depending on the
needs of our clients.
Requirements:
1- Exceptional English speakers and the ability to
listen to audio in English and type it at the same
time with correct vocabulary and punctuation.
2- Fast typing skills.
3- Knowledge and the ability and willingness to
learn American names, brands, products, cities,
companies, addresses etc...
4- A pair of good headphones or ear phones.
5- A stable ADSL connection as most of our work is
done live.
6- A stable computer that can handle audio and
internet with no problems.
7- Team players who understand call center break
schedules and log in / log out times.
We pay high salaries so therefore vacancies are
limited and candidates will be selected through a
series of tests and unqualified candidates will be
eliminated.
We do not use phones and we expect candidates to
check their emails frequently as this is the only form
of contact amongst the team members of the
company.
PS: Undegrads are most welcome to apply as long
as they can work full shifts without disrupting work
flow.
