SWITCHGEAR DESIGN ENGINEERS:
The incumbent should 3-5 years experience in designing of LV Switchgears in a reputed manufacturing company.
Holder of degree Bachelor of Engineering. He should be mechanically sound in conceiving general arrangement/layout. He should be conversant with the IEC standard for the LV Switchgear/Controlgear & components used therein. Knowledge about power system protection and relaying. Knowledge of using Auto Cad or Microstation is a must. Fluent in English
Working as Design Engineer – LV Switchgear, you will be primarily responsible for making design, estimate bill of material for customer requirements of electrical panels. You must be independent and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Designing of power distribution systems including associated load, fault current and voltage drop calculations. Knowledge of Lighting Distribution panels, PLC panels, will be an added advantage.
•Support Sales team, in responding to customer RFQs and post sales TQs.
• Handling design reviews with Customer’s engineers, prior to manufacturing. And completing project contract documentation.
• Supervise panel assembly and handle FAT test procedures.
• In depth knowledge of electrical design standards and codes of practice.
• Expert Knowledge of CAD software’s - AutoCAD, Elcad,
