Description Manages the cost department and cost staff. Responsible for all cost reports to
management including assets under construction, agriculture (finished goods and standing), animal production. Manages allocation of costs to cost centers accurately and advises on cost center hierarchy updates. Deploys cost control mechanisms agreed with Finance Manager and reports on variances/discrepancies in expenditure versus budget/BOM etc. responsible of maintaining accurate cost standards and supervision on cost drivers and documentation cycles for issuance of inventory and expense management. Responsible for review of pricing of new products.
Qualifications Bachelor of commerce - accounting. Preference to CMA holder or Diploma in cost accounting. minimum 10 years experience in cost accounting with at least 2 years at manager grade preferably with agricultural knowledge. SAP and Microsoft office (word, advanced excel, PowerPoint).
