PURPOSE:
This is a one-sentence statement which describes the job functions and shows how the job will add value to the Firm’s activities. Provides operational and technical support to the users of business applications to ensure that the business benefits of applications continue to be achieved throughout their lifetime.

DUTIES / TASKS:
These are the 6-8 main component duties or tasks which make up the whole job.

Handle and solve the common application problems.
Applications administration.
Route New unsolved bugs to the Development Team 
Checking the integrity of the daily operations.
Using Ad Hock Queries to create new temporary reports.
Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members. 
Be able to liaise directly with the regional branch officers to maintain smooth daily activities.
Increase the system users’ usage, knowledge and raise their overall perception of the application. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills. 
Submit daily and weekly timesheets.
Deployment of the software upgrades.
Implement needed reports using SQL reporting service.
Integrate and collect needed data from other systems for reporting purpose.
Availability in either early or late times to support users in different locales as needed.
Using laptop to support users from home if needed.
Raise the need for a hot-fix to the development teams as needed by the business and ensure that it’s deployed on the needed time.
Monitor and troubleshoot session issues in a responsive manner to EGX and MCSD teams with the help of the development teams if needed.
Monitor troubleshoots and report systems instability issues to the proper teams.
Log support issues reported by phone or email to VSTS 
Log to AVAYA system to log support calls

Job Requirements:
These are the major qualifications / skills needed to perform the above asks effduties or ticiently. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum of one year of experience in supporting enterprise applications
Experience in MS T-SQL ( MS SQL 2008 ) 
Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills

Experience in MS SQL Reporting Services ( MS SQL 2008) 
Experience in MS SQL OLAP Technologies (MS SQL 2008) 
Experience in C# and .net development tools is a plus
Previous experience in brokerage firms or banking sector is a plus. 
Systematic, excellent at institution and also in multitasking.
