Description
• Creation of master production schedules for producing products • Daily monitoring of production output, against stock levels, Customer demand and production schedules. • Serve as liaison between Plants and Sales to identify variances within demand management. • Responding to variances in production, QC decisions and Customer orders that may impact production plan, capacities and efficiencies. • Lead meetings as required with Sales and Plants to ensure clarity of demand vs. supply over appropriate planning time fences. • Support the development of agreed stocking policies, planning lead times, etc in conjunction with sales, production, warehouse and technical departments • Co-ordinate and manage stock levels based on the above to ensure customer service requirements are delivered • Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports to monitor schedule adherence across plants. • Liaise with the Sales to manage and agree monthly product forecasts and identify/address issues as they arise • Liaise with customer service, plants, warehouse and logistics functions on order issues/status • Utilize available tools, systems that are in place to support the above • Ensure appropriate metrics are in place to monitor performance and highlight issues on an ongoing basis • Compile/report agreed weekly/monthly performance metrics and highlight issues on an ongoing basis Manage off grade stocks and lines of communication back to sales to keep stocks to a minimum
Qualifications University degree in a business-related field. . Very Good Computer Skills
