Required Skills : 

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Minimum 10-15 years experience in Project Management.
- Know how of Vehicle and Heavy Earth Equipments is a must
- Know how of operating Batch Plants (Concrete and Asphalt) is a must
-Coaching & leadership skills.
-Organizational and strategic planning skills.
-Negotiation Skills & Presentation Skills.
-Ability to retain the employees.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously & meet agreed deadlines.
-Ability to work well through others.
-Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule


Job Description & Responsibilities:

Department Scope of work:

- Operating and maintenance 
-Vehicles 
-Heavy Earth Moving Equipments
-Batch Plant

Job Tasks:

1.Manage Production Unit / Departments Managers and other teamwork members, preparing work schedule and assigning specific duties as per department scope of work. 

2.Supervise and manage the inspection, test, and measures of completed work to verify conformance to standards and repair requirements.

3.Monitor tools, spare part inventories and workshops maintenance to ensure adequate working conditions.

4.Prepare and submit budget estimates and time schedule plan. 

5.Schedule the department workflow for budget and time frame required to meet deadlines.

6.Direct and coordinate department's financial and budget activities to increase efficiency. (Cost control report).

7.Manage schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel (Workflow System). 

8.Review the department work flow to monitor compliance with safety codes, and other regulations. 

9.Confer with supervisory workforce, clients and sub-contractors (if any) to discuss and resolve matters such as work progress, complaints, and work problems
.
10.Supervise the execution time in alignment with the planned time plan (Cost control report).

11.Review project sites to monitor operating and maintenance progress and ensure conformance to specifications and standards.

12.Develop and implement quality control programs.

13.Monitor / Supervise action taken regarding Production Unit / departments waste materials.

14.Provide technical advice for Production Unit / Department Managers

15.Oversee activities directly related to making projects / department progress. 

16.Review financial statements, activities reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and time schedule improvement. 

17.Investigate damage, accidents and delays with Managers, to ensure that proper procedures and corrective actions are being carried out

18.Ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures. 
19.Develop monitor the implementation, and evaluation of operating and maintenance policies and procedures.

20.Ensure the achievement of company goals and objectives.

21.Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance

22.Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.

23.Utilize human resources capabilities.

24.Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and monitor training for new employees.

25.Allocate training needed for his directly reporting subordinates as per the business needs while monitoring the return on investment of the selected trainings.

26.Regularly reports his sector activities through periodical reports and/or management meetings.

27.Spot and report functional gaps and take the necessary actions/recommendation to fill them up.
