Job Description

Summary
The Technical Support will have the responsibility of assisting users on various
hardware\software related issues.

Responsibilities
-Identify, research, and resolve technical problems

-Troubleshoot computer hardware, software or network
-Respond to Request system (calls, email, help desk system…)
-Document, track, and monitor all problem to ensure a timely resolution
-Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining
to LAN
-Install and configure workstations based on MIU Policy
-Provide end users support for all LAN- based applications
-Assist with data recovery, using recovery tools
-Perform manual/automatic backup’s as needed
-Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to area of responsibility

Skills

-Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7
-Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Good knowledge in network technology (TCP/IP-DNS-DHCP) etc,
-Must have a strong work ethic, organization skills

Education & Experience

-Bachelor Degree
-3 or more years of experience in an office environment
