PR and Copywriting specialist

General Duties

1. Maintain up-to-date media contact databases, such as Media Disk. This will include logging all media relations activities across the business.
2. Build up profiles of target media. This would involve keeping copies of previous articles.
3. Issuing press releases and following up with target journalists to optimize the level of coverage received.
4. Maintain the annual activity schedule for the PR team, including regional calendars and flag up-coming events
5. Book photographer/video graphers and other freelancers for global public relations activities.
6. Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotations for all public relations activities.
7. Write all related marketing material inline with the brand tone of voice guide.
8. Coordinate with SEO experts for related internet marketing material.
9. Develop the marketing core messages wording.
10. Brainstorm copy ideas with other members of the creative team.
11. Monitor the production phases of digital and printing material to ensure grammar and syntax mistake free material.

Needed background, Skills and Experience

1. Females preferred.
2. Extreme Proficient in using both Arabic and English languages.
3. Highly creative and imaginative.
4. Have exceptional written and interpersonal skills
5. Have an interest in financial, commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.
6. Knowledge of graphic design, writing styles; press and media management, and market development principles.
7. Able to work under high pressure and meet the deadlines.
8. Have an eye for detail.
9. Experience in GCC is a huge plus.
