Job Description
The Assistant Manager for Operations will ensure smooth operations, efficient production planning and staffing, improve management productivity through the provision of a wide range of support services ranging from reporting, supply provision, property inventory, resource booking, staff scheduling, event organizing, filing and correspondence


Enforce department guidelines, policies and procedures through regular communication with staff and co-ordination with team leaders who are tasked to coach team members
Maintain smooth operations by coordinating closely with Global Publishing Services management and staff and with other support groups for the speedy resolution of any production issue or concern or the timely provision of an alternative solution when no immediate resolution is possible
Document agreements and action items resulting from business and production meetings by preparing accurate and complete minutes of meetings and monitoring the completion of action items
Ensure the timely completion of billing, expense and management reports by providing assistance to managers and project coordinators


Skills Required
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Good interpersonal skills
Strong command of both written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
Structured and systematic working style
Able to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and keen to learn
Maintains composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere
Flexibility to work in shifts - 24/7
Available to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary
