Motion Graphics Designer

General Duties

1. Collaborates with marketing team to determine and produce dynamic media – video, graphics, audio, and more.
2. Acts as technical director to schedule, coordinate, and execute daily video shoots - including organization of all shoot equipment, set up and operation of cameras and lighting equipment, audio, etc.
3. Acts as primary post-production editor – including video and audio edits of programs, graphics, and mastering.
4. Produce high quality promotional videos which include both VFX and video shoots
5. Maintains and troubleshoots production and post-production equipment. This includes research and recommendations on the acquisition of new technology, and maintaining appropriate inventories.
6. Tracks time, organizes priorities, and manages deadlines.

Needed background, Skills and Experience

1. Thorough knowledge and previous experience in video production, including knowledge of video cameras (knowledge of DSLR cameras preferred), lighting, audio, as well as the principles, practices, techniques, technology and standards of video production and shot composition.
2. Thorough knowledge of video editing and the technology involved (Final Cut Pro suite, Adobe After effects, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas) required.
3. Strong Knowledge of color correction techniques.
4. Strong knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
5. Proficient in audio editing tools such as Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, Protools, etc.
6. Knowledge of basic web development principles, CMS usage, digital and social media platforms preferred.
7. Knowledge in 3D Studio Max and/or Maya is a huge plus.
8. Knowledge in Adobe Flash is a huge plus.
