Hyperion Consultant (Planning / HFM)
1-3 years experience
Responsibilities:
-Strengthen our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Implementation practice by utilizing the subject matter expertise on Oracle’s Hyperion Planning (HP) and /or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) solutions.
-Work with HP and /or HFM team to successfully deliver EPM solution to clients.
-Interface with clients and senior executives to understand requirements on building and optimizing their enterprise Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and /or Consolidation processes/applications.
-Provide application build, test and implementation expertise and manage the transfer of skills to client project team members and partners.
-Specialize in developing HFM and Planning reports, Business rules and Webforms.
-In the absence of the Senior Consultant, ensure completion of Project Plans, and monitor task status over duration of the project.
-Assist in project documentation.
-Contribute to project and solution reviews, documenting findings.
Requirements:
-Degree in Finance / Accountancy/Business, and/or IT preferred.
-Worked in a functional Consulting capacity on at least 1 Hyperion implementation project.
-Have some technical experience but planning and /or consolidation experience is vital including understanding the budgeting and planning, financial close process etc.
-Candidates with higher experience can be considered for Senior Consultant position.
-Knowledge of HP and / or HFM tools essential.
-Strong experience working with Hyperion Essbase, Financial reporting, Business Rules and Webforms desirable.
-Candidates with strong technical background can be considered for Technical Consultant position.
-SQL, PLSQL, Oracle 8, 9i, 10g, DB2, MAXL knowledge would be good but not essential.
-Good ability and willingness to learn.
-Strong customer facing and communication skills
-Must be independent yet a strong team player.
-Tenacious and strong commitment to duties is expected.
-Ability to cope with stress and deadlines.
-Willing to travel overseas on project assignments, when required. (More involvement in local market in the initial phase)
