Job Description:
As a Junior PHP Software Engineer, you will work on the development of web applications, using Object-oriented PHP, MySQL, MVC architecture, JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery, CSS, XHTML, XML, SQL, RESTful web Services and SOA. In addition to requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and integration, you will contribute to design and code reviews and QA as well.
Job Considerations:
Technical Skills:
· Specific experience with Object-oriented PHP, JavaScript, and SQL.
· Advanced technical skills and knowledge of WordPress development.
· Extensive knowledge of WordPress Custom Plugins & Custom Theme Development.
· Experience working with, external API’s like Facebook and Google.
· Experience coding for and testing content/layout in multiple browsers.
· Experience working in an MVC framework Zend or Symfony.
· Familiar with Eclipse for PHP IDE.
· Familiar with WAMP/LAMP development.
· Consistent with the above, must have strong skills and demonstrated knowledge of related technologies, including: MySQL, MVC architecture, Jquery, CSS, XHTML, XML, AJAX, RESTful web Services and SOA.
· Complementary knowledge of the system platforms we are required to support, including: Windows, Linux and MAC.
· Knowledge of leading database environments, including MySQL, MS SQL, and DB2.
· Deeply understand the relational database concepts.
· Experience with versioning software, in particular SVN.
· Excellent debugging, profiling and optimization experience.
· Experience with compile time optimizations.
· Familiarity with Apache and any caching technique like APC (Alternative PHP Cache) or MemCache is a plus.
· CMS, shopping cart, payment gateway is a plus.
· Mobile Programming Experience (iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile, J2ME) is a plus.

Minimum Experience:
· A total of 2 year Experience of WordPress development.
· A total of 2 year WordPress Custom Plugins / Custom Theme Development.
· Familiarity with Object-oriented PHP, JavaScript and SQL.
· A total of 3 year Experience as a PHP developer.
· Familiar with Eclipse for PHP IDE.
· Deeply understand the relational database concepts.
· Familiar with WAMP development.
