Roles and Responsibilities:
* Maintains excellent communication with the IT Manager on all tasks and projects through Weekly Activity Sheets
* Creates and maintains good technical documentation
* Provide on-site technical support to organization’s servers as per agreed Standards List
* Ensure communications are carried out to the customer throughout the life cycle of a call
* Make sure the call is updated at all times
* Set realistic and achievable expectations with Technical Team
* Remain well versed in System administration’s policies, procedures, standards and documentation
* Ensuring the reliability of IT systems backup plan and administrating
* Monitor and administer and operate the following Severs
* Microsoft Exchange server, file servers, print server, DNS, DHCP, ISA, Blackberry, Domain Controller, Antivirus Server, Web Server, Windows Update service & EMC storage in professional standard way,
* Backup the database, troubleshooting any problems concerning exchange server includes (move email box if need it, backup database, hard recovery for database if need it, suggesting a new design for Exchange to enhance the performance and structure if needed)
* Testing and deploying new applications on the LAB environment
* Judge Hardware Faults and escalate the problems to the related Vendors through
* Manages the windows updates and patch installation of application Server
* Manages and leads continuous improvements of MS active directory, MS ISA server, DHCP, Antivirus systems and Windows Update service
* Troubleshoots servers, applications, and network connectivity issues
* Create, maintain, and comply with corporate and departmental standard operating procedures
* Prepares status & weekly reports and monthly posting for IT management as requested
* Perform on-site and remote technical support
