Description 1-Responsible for overall purchasing function including planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing. 2-Negotiate the purchase of materials, need & equipments required by the company and insuring that meet specifications and can delivered at the correct time at the most favorable prices. 3-monitor purchase
orders to ensure these are modified to meet changes in requirements. 4-assist in the development of company wide category purchase strategy for commodities managing strategic relationships with key suppliers. 5-monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure there meets the required standards. 6-resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. 7-prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise cost. Qualifications Must have relevant experience in Purchasing at industrial companies & preferably at cement industries – good computer skills (MS Office)
