Senior Presales Consultant:
Purpose:
Analyzes, evaluates & modifies existing & proposed services.
Assists sales force in achieving sales targets through conducting presentations, demos & meetings with customers. Preparation of offerings & proposals. Assists in managing 3rd party solutions offerings & relationship building.
Job Description:
1. Demonstrate products and services, using presentations and demos.
2. Undergo technical and business development through a mixture self study and attending formal training of new products and solutions.
3. Gather customer requirements, map solution designs and set customer expectations for the assigned products/business line/customers/region.
4. Bid and proposals preparation and management.
5. Managing third party/partner relationships, technical and financial proposals when required to complement company offerings.
6. Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for obtained orders.
7. Discuss effort estimates provided by PS for input as part of egabi solution offerings.
8. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, and/or manage customers remotely by phone and email.
9. Submit weekly activity sales reports.
10. Work with egabi and partner sales executives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
11. Work with egabi and partner technical teams (when applicable) to gain products/services/industry knowledge to effectively position and leverage offerings to customers.
12. Ensure updated records of new and potential customers’ data.
13. Ensures that customer problems/issues with products and/or service delivery are resolved.
14. Take on additional assignments and work tasks as required and dictated by business needs.
Work Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience, minimum 4 years in IT field
- Technical background
Technical skills:
- Good working knowledge MS OS & MS Office
- Basic knowledge of MS Project & Visio
- Good working knowledge of Oracle technology and/or application offering
