IT sales professional's work falls into the three main areas of pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support of hardware and software:



a. Expected to conduct the presales activity for the sales team. The role involves account mapping, synchronizing the client needs with the services offered by research and advisory team and preparing case studies for the same.

b. Involves supporting pre-sales activities by giving detailed information about technical specifications and the ways in which they could meet customer's needs, often demonstrating those features before a sale.

Typical work activities include:

c. Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.

d. Writing technical proposals, tenders, reports and supporting literature.

e. ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems;

f. designing and delivering customer presentations articulately and confidently;

g. promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature;

h. advising on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts

i. providing support to customers, often on a helpline, offering clear advice and solutions wherever possible;

j. assisting customers to maximize their use of the hardware or software in order to support the success of their business;



Skills/Qualifications





1. 3 years of experience in Presales especially in (E-learning, MM, and Web Applications) products.

2. Relevant Bachelor degree

3. Very good background in IT field

4. Excellent user of Ms. Office and Internet

5. Good knowledge in Sales and Marketing

6. Strong Business/ Technical writing skills

7. Fluent in English
