Description • As assistant to the senior proposal engineer, prepare the cost analysis, budgets and cash flows in response to bid opportunities in a timely manner • As part of the Sales & Marketing Team, assist regional sales personnel to prepare responses to tenders • After on-the-job-training, prepare responses to smaller enquiries unaided • With support from the regional sales team, prepare bids and tenders for submission to the Client • Ensure compliance with all the required Bid processes • Ensure new opportunities are entered on the CRM database and the database is kept up to date with the latest developments on each bid • Sourcing of new suppliers in-country for both materials and services • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Clients and suppliers • Ensure good and regular communications with the Client as necessary in order that their requirements during the bid and sales process are understood and complied with • General sales support

Qualifications • Degree qualified engineer with civil engineering or construction background • 3 to 5 yrs experience with a contractor • Age range 25 to 30 years • Computer literacy essential for day to day usage of commonly used software • Thorough knowledge of costing, budgeting, pricing and forecasting • Knowledge and experience in putting together tenders
