Roles and Responsibilities
Looking for a Solutions Architect responsible for overseeing the architecture and ensuring consistency in technical approach for various software platforms utilized at IPMagix. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of multiple software platforms including n-tier web applications, SOA platform, creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications for various software platforms using enterprise standard documentation tools
* Assist in the design/development of test automation scripts using test Professional automation tools
* Architecting, Designing and Implementing information systems which will adequately meet the strategic needs of the clients and will support the enterprise infrastructure of the client organization
* Support Application development teams on new technologies and system requirements, architecture and design
* Prepare architecture presentations, architecture design, and progress/status reports
* Setup progress and communicate with the project team
* Build prototypes or proofs-of-concept and publish white-papers to demonstrate technology
* Participate in pre-sales activities to support other team
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
* B.Sc. Computer science or equivalent (Masters Degree is preferred)
* 2+ years object oriented architecture and design experience using UML
* Development experience in .Net and/or J2EE is a plus
* Deep understanding of software architecture and design best practices, patterns, and methodologies
