Description — Develop supply sourcing strategies that reduce cost, ensure supply continuity and meet ABCs quality requirements — Demonstrate the technical proficiency in the end-to-end purchasing process and acts in a consultative manner to support the transactional procurement activities in his/her section — Support in establishing guidelines for the procurement process which lead to improved efficiency and effectiveness in purchasing activities — Develop and execute the Sourcing/Negotiation Plans for assigned category and supply chain area, both short and long term that would address the Total Cost of Ownership in obtaining the best value for ABC — Negotiate, make agreements and Manage the suppliers (Local or Foreign) to ensure timely supply with best possible prices and quality — Participate in the NPI projects to ensure the successful introduction of the new product and ensuring the timely supply of any needed new equipment or change-over part for any of the packaging line equipment. — Responsible for providing the needed quotations to allow the purchase requesters to issue their Purchase requisitions with all needed detailed specifications. — Responsible for conducting the Supplier Evaluation for those selected vendors jointly with the functional owner — Responsible for embedding accurate Master Data into the SAP system — Responsible of setting the expected delivery dates — Follow up with the customs department upon the goods clearance
Qualifications Education, Certifications and Licenses: • University Bachelor degree is a must, preferably Engineering Knowledge and Experience: • Relevant experience in purchasing, material management or maintenance is a plus • worked in an industrial repetitive mass production environment • Acquainted with ERP SAP Skills and Abilities: • High analytical skills • Very well organized and structural approach to track and solve problems • Details and quality oriented • High Persuasion and Negotiation skills • Excellent Communication skills • Pro-active • Team work oriented • Works efficiently with spreadsheets
