•Review of design criteria document, specification/data sheet, Equipment/material requisition for inquiry/procurement, technical & commercial evaluation & recommendation, design review & approval of various systems/packages. •System design calculation including pipe sizing calculation •Engineering Co-ordination with other disciplines and with site team. •Develops exceptional concept designs which reflect innovative, creative thinking while at the same time, meeting the clients brief and agreed budget. •Attends design meetings and other meetings with various parties
(clients, suppliers, other disciplines & site meetings) to clarify and/or confirm requirements, obtain information and ensure that all facets of the project are being correctly progressed. •Provide leadership in several areas of engineering expertise (e.g., Mechanical, Thermal, Applications, etc.). •considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints; •discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers; •managing projects using engineering principles and techniques; •planning and designing new processes; •producing details of specifications and outline designs; •considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints; •working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering specialism; •Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
