ASP.NET Web Developer
Job Description: ASP.NET Developer (4 Juniors/ 2 Seniors) Location: 3s Software, Nasr City, Cairo
Main Job Purpose:
An ASP.Net Web Developer is required to join 3s Software Development Team. The best candidate must have strong ASP.net / MS SQL skills including demonstrable OO / N-tier web application development experience. Ideally he (she) will have full project lifecycle experience. We are looking for a dynamic and flexible individual who is comfortable working under their own initiative as part of a small integrated team in a customer focused environment.
As an ASP.Net Web Developer; focus must be the end user and client, this means functionality, usability, scalability and quality must be paramount in your work. We are seeking four juniors from 1 to 2 years’ experience max and two mid to senior professional with at least 3 years of practical experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Production of maintainable web applications with solid architecture
Identifying, investigating and implementing novel solutions to client requirements
Ensure web applications meet current web standards & accessibility requirements
Responsible for bug fixing
Maintenance of existing applications
Creating & implementing test strategies
Implementing source control & versioning
Contribute to coding standards / development practices
Deploy the applications at the customer premises
Skills / Attributes Required:
ASP.Net (C#)
MS SQL SERVER
Experience using and developing ASP web applications
Good knowledge of W3C web standards (HTML, CSS, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, WSDL …etc.)
Strong interest in the future of web application development
Experience of industry best practices
Team Player, can do attitude, willing to transfer knowledge
Ability to work within small multi-skilled teams and to communicate technical aspects in a clear manner
Willingness to implement projects on time and to budget
Ability to empathize with clients
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Desirable:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 experience
Microsoft.NET 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0
Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0 experience
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 experience
Microsoft Reporting Services 2005/2008 experience
Microsoft SharePoint experience is plus
Silverlight experience is plus
Flash experience is plus
