Social Media OM 2012


PRIMARY FUNCTION

Drives the company's social media marketing programs, including those designed to increase the base of fans and followers engaging with the brand. Plans social ad campaigns, promotions and contests and reports on results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Concepts, launches and tests offers, promotions and contests designed to build the company's base of fans and followers. Monitors and reports results and applies learning to future campaign planning
- Builds and maintains online brand assets (photo collections, posts etc.) for use in social media channels
- Provides input for development of social marketing programs.
- Analyzes campaigns and translates anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
- Tags and titles content with an understanding of the impact on natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content
- Utilizes listening reports to monitor the company's mentions and performance in social media. Summarizes and socializes this information

Job Requirements

-One to three years experience in social media engagement
-Bachelor's degree in related field or nearly to it.
-Excellent research, organization and communication skills
-Experience in online content production and publishing
-Thorough understanding of the current social media universe and search engine optimization concepts
-Promotional and media planning skills
-Solid knowledge of social media sites, tools and approaches
-Self-motivated, results-oriented and very active social member.
-Ability to stay abreast of the rapidly-changing world of new media
-Ability to work individually on a project or within a team environment
-Very Good English (Writing).
