Sales Manager
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for instructing and directing sales staff to pursue the achievement of sales goals, addressing clients’ problems and/or complaints and managing sales activities of the organization
Primary Tasks:
A. Essential
· Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate Sahara goals.
· Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
· Reviews market analyses to determine clients’ needs and price schedules.
· Directs sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of sales goals and objectives to ensure maximum profitability and growth in line with Sahara’s vision and values.
· Maintains and increases revenue for existing and targeting accounts through managing the entire sales cycle, including, but not limited to price increases and contract renewals.
· Develops strong client relationships through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.
· Seeks out and targets new clients and new sales opportunities & initiates action plan to approach and secure new deals.
· Ensures sales teams are carrying out sales process within quality procedures.
· Develops, submits, and follows-up on sales proposals complete with price quotations.
· Negotiates prices, payment and delivery terms with clients within the internal guidelines provided by the department and the organization.
· Reviews sales operational records and reports to estimate assigned client’s sales volume and determine growth and revenue.
· Keeps abreast of market developments and identifies and researches new growth areas for sales.
B. Marginal
· Recruits; supports and guides qualified staff in the sales department.
· Evaluates employees' skill sets to both current and future role requirements and provides retraining or other corrective action as required.
· Adjusts sales procedures and ways to achieve better results.

Education, Skills, Experience required:
§ Bachelor degree with experience in business administration, sales or any related field.
§ Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales position.
§ Must be capable of thinking through complex issues analytically and solves complex business situations.
§ Demonstrated experience in working at all levels, maintaining relationships with key accounts to drive business.
§ Strategic thinking and planning skills.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Ability to work well through others.
§ Ability to motivate
