Position : Project Health & Safety Manager.
Direct Manager : Project manager (administratively) –Process / Health and Safety manager (technically).
supervisory : Health & Safety Technicians - Health & Safety Specialists.
• Share at the process of determining the company health and safety policies and assure of its distribution and explain it to all employees.
• Provide technical support to the project management in the field of Health & Safety Management.
• Prepare schedule of health & safety committee.
• Put the permitted maximum standards for hazards according to regulations, rules, policies .
• Arrange , Plan and establish required awareness and training programs to policies and instructions of health & safety and environmental protection ,be sure of apply it and recommend rules , instructions of health & safety .
• Ensure of the availability of protection equipment and firefighting tools and the usage of this equipments .
• Follow up the implementation of usually tests for alarms and firefighting equipments , rescue aids & train employees to use it and the safety of alarms equipments and create emergency plans and evacuation and firefighting.
• Manage the process of inspection health & safety regulations and secure work environment around the project to ensure the applying of safety rules.
• Makes analysis , investigations , scientific analyzing and technical for accidents and encourage efforts made to analyze accidents to clarify the factual reasons for the accidents ( Fact finding not fault finding ) and put the appropriate solutions for it.
• Work on development alternatives for the safety performance.
Qualification : Bachelor degree in Science or chemical engineering
Experience : Fifteen years of experience at the field of Health & Safety .
Skills : Leadership – Planning – Ranking – Ability to improve , create and keep up with the technological development – Reporting skills– Ability to work under continuous pressure.
Other requirements : Aware of all the process & activities of cement factories and the Variety in the confronting problems.
