Job Description
GlobeSoft Egypt is seeking talented Senior SharePoint Consultants/ Developers to supervise the design, development, testing and deploying SharePoint portals, ECM, reporting, BI and other projects. Successful candidates shall perform following functions:
1. Requirements gathering, system analysis, software specifications documentation and system design.
2. Investigation, evaluation and selection of new trends and technologies and developing awareness of programming and design alternatives.
3. Standard compliance and enforcement of coding standards.
4. Enterprise application architecture and consultation services.
5. Supervision of developers’ work.
6. Design, develop and maintain key components using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 and 2013.
7. Workflows implementation.
8. Develop and debug projects and solutions according to specifications in various programming languages based on Microsoft.NET Framework and SharePoint.
9. Develop relational, normalized databases.
10. Transform system design and specifications into applications.
11. Correct and fix software defects and bugs.
12. Maintain, support and enhance existing web applications and technical solutions.
13. Build and deploy technical solutions on production servers as per given guidelines.
14. Implement different business applications (including third-party applications) when required.
15. Run and monitor tests on new and existing technical solutions for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement.
16. Create reports, dashboards and visual interfaces
17. Install and configure SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 environment
18. Setup site collections, sites, lists, document libraries and InfoPath forms in SharePoint
19. Create and extend content types, structures, workflows, and fields, Install and customize themes, install and configure web parts, develop custom themes and web parts
20. Design website templates and application user interfaces with enhanced usability user experience
21. Build websites in SharePoint including installation & configuration, site architecture (pages, lists & views, web parts, content types, structures, solutions and templates), workflows, theming and custom themes, , data migration, external data integration, visualization and reporting, content deployment in distributed hosting, fine-tuning. Custom web part development, InfoPath forms, SharePoint web services, creating forms and understanding its database design, central administration expertise for backup/restore, import/export, user roles and permissions management
Desired Skills & Experience
Technical skills:
1. Experience of 2-5 years with large similar enterprises.
2. Remarkable experience in all SharePoint 2010 aspects for at least 2-year in large SharePoint 2007 and 2010 different implementations.
3. Solid experience in .Net and SQL programming.
4. Excellent experience in SharePoint programming, WF, and AD.
5. Good knowledge of SharePoint 2013 is a great plus.
6. Work experience in one or more of PerformancePoint, building Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL tools, Dynamics CRM and BizTalk is a great plus.
7. Work experience in one of the BPM platforms is a great plus.
Software Engineering skills:
1. Solid experience in solution analysis and design using UML standards.
2. Very solid understanding and experience in database design, ERD and database optimization and normalization
