Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer
Description: The AX developer will develop custom solutions in the native AX IDE, Morph X, and X++. This person will be involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting ERP application software that is delivered on time and within budget. The AX developer makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops and debugs custom Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solutions using the AX IDE, MorphX, and/or X++
• Engages the project team and end-users to architect and develop Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 gap/fit solutions
• Designs and develops custom Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 reports using the AX IDE, MorphX, X++, and/or SSRS
• Modifies Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 user interface based on business requirements using the AX IDE, MorphX, and/or X++
• Produce technical specifications based on functional design specifications for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solutions
• Performs debugging and unit testing of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solutions
• Packages Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 customizations and enhancements into deployment models
• Promote Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 models from development, test, and staging environments
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 modules based on business requirements
Requirements: The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise:
• BS or MS in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering
• Requires 1+ years of overall professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX design and development
• 1+ years of previous programming experience in high level languages (C++, C#, Java), MS SQL 2005 or above, SharePoint Portal, Dynamics AX Enterprise Portal, ASP.Net, AJAX/Frameworks
• Requires experience in one or more of the following modules: Financials (AR/AP/GL), Trade Logistics, HR, Supply Chain, MRP, Manufacturing, and Role Centers
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 workflow, security, and AIF development techniques
• Has previous experience with the AX IDE, MorphX, and/or X++ in AX 2009 or later
• SSRS or crystal report writing experience or C# programming experience preferred
• Handheld devices/Scanner, Windows CE, .Net Compact framework experience will be plus
