Duties and Responsibilities:
• Tests software programs to compare to specifications and documentation and make sure that it meet customer requirements.
• Identifies, analyzes, reports and documents defects and problems.
• Questions functions for errors, inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
• Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in both operating and response times.
• Creates test cases and test data.
• Creates and executes automated test scripts using testing software programs.
• Installs, maintains, and uses testing software programs.
• Reviews and contributes to software program documentation.
• Assures that designed units are user friendly and flexible.
• Assures system usability and flexibility.
• Performs all types of testing (Integration tests, stress tests, process tests and release test).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) in any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training.
- Understanding of testing methods, including testing methodology and automated testing.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret functional and technical systems requirements.
- Logical thinking and attention to details.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of financial applications (Accounting software) is a plus.
