VACANCY: Banc-assurance and DM Manager – EGYPT

For a mutlinational Insurance co.
Experience: 5-7 yrs.
Highlights: BANC- ASSURANCE & SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Experience in banking sector is a MUST
Purpose: Responsible for Business development opportunities, including formulating and executing strategic tie-ups and maintaining business relationships with third parties and handling all alternative distribution channels.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that Regional Management of DM and Specialty Markets is kept advised on all internal and external issues affecting the performance of the DM / Credit Life Operation, and execute directives on timely and accurate basis.
2. Meet assigned budget figures in all items relating to premiums, acquisition expenses, and profits and ensure corporate annual growth objectives in premiums and profits are met by pursuing production through all available channels of distributions, on Direct basis, or selected outside brokers / consultants in order for new business to be secured on timely and cost effective basis, thereby ensuring achievement of profitability objectives.
3. Participate actively in field servicing of new business to ensure all administration/underwriting requirements are adhered to by DM Sponsors, Financial Institutions’ plan administrators and individual members in the DM / Credit Life plans.
4. Formulate marketing plans and participate actively in new product development to meet production and profitability objectives. Ensure budget development exercise is accurate and timely conducted.
5. Train selected producers among selected outside brokers on sales of DM / Credit Life products.
6. Liaise effectively by cross-selling / coordinating with other department managers to ensure team approach in order to achieve corporate objectives by developing new DM Sponsors / Financial Institutions and launching new DM / Credit Life campaigns with existing DM Sponsors / Financial Institutions.
7. Participate in developing marketing strategies with existing and potential DM Sponsors / Financial Institutions, and direct other staff to implement follow-up techniques in this endeavor effectively.
