Lab specialist (3 – 5 Years of Experience)

Job Summary:
Carries out a laboratory analysis on the finished products
Monitoring the effectiveness of the Pest Control program by following up the Pest control company work, maintain the records and issue monthly reports and corrective-preventive actions if a deviation were observed
Raw Material Control, by review the COA and collect relevant checklist done by WH clerk and final release of the raw materials
HSE Responsibilities
assisting the QHSE Manager in the development and application of the HSE Management System at each level within the company,
Develop the emergency response plan and monitor implementation,
Organizes and administers program of fire and safety training for all personnel,
Prepare all reports and statistics (weekly – monthly – accidents/incident –near miss) to submit to the QHSE Manager.
Prepare Risk Assessment / JHA Jobsite Hazardous Analysis of all existing activities and new projects
Implement HSE plan safety procedures for all operational , electrical , mechanical and construction activities.
Prepare of the accident/incident investigation reports.
Provided preliminary orientation training for the newly recruited employee to be ready to work at site.
Responsible for the plant waste management
Responsible for the hazards materials control program
Development and implementation of company HSE management system in compliance with the ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001,local legislation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• A Bachelor of science Degree or Higher
• At least 3 years’ experience as a plant HSE officer or supervisor
• Accreditation by an internationally recognized safety organization (OSHA, NEBOSH)
• Experience in the implementation of ISO 18001,14001, and 9001
• Good communication skills,
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, computer literacy
• Innovative to generate new ideas
• Excellent English skills
• FMGC background is a plus
