Admin Assistant

Assistant




Under the general supervision of the project coordinator serves as principal assistant for

carrying out broad administrative support functions



Tasks include

- Analyzes and maintains an overview of the work of the office to ensure that timely

administrative support is provided in general and specialized areas

- Briefs international personnel and consultants on general administrative matters,

provides advice, and ensures administrative support

- Advises and assists senior staff in the area of office management

- Arranges for and/or attends meetings on day-to-day administrative matters



Experience and qualifications



Education:

- Completion of secondary education; training in business administration is desirable



Work experience:

- Five years of progressively responsible work in administration.

- Familiarity with human rights, child rights and child well-being issues



Competencies:

- Good judgment, initiative, high sense of responsibility, organizational and analytical

skills

- Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications



Language and communication:

- Fluency in Arabic and English required, French is an asset
