Job Details: Basic objective:
A Technical manager is responsible for of all technical activities and responsibie for managing the technical support team to achieve the highest level of quality performance and get the customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all the technical unit which includes but not limited to:
a. Networks and hardware unit
b. Security devices and systems unit
c. Operating systems, Applications and Software unit
d. Product engineer unit
e. Hosting unit
f. All Company services
2. Planning ,design and project management for implementations
3. Supervision of all technical activities including but not limited to:
a. All Purchasing, installation, upgrading, configuration and documentation activities
b. Administration, Periodic operations, maintenance and monitoring of all running services
4. Participate with the Executive Manager in development of business plans, budgets and SLA’s
5. Responsible for all technical policies and procedures preparation and implementation, andensure that they are meeting standards
6. Defines the level of resources required to meet goals, priorities and schedules.
7. Technical Management:
a. Ensure that all Technicalcomponents are running with its best performance
b. Configure all Infrastructureparts to accomplish its maximum capacity
c. Operation cost control and management
d. License and software management
e. Supply chain management
8. Supervision service technical support
a. Incident, problem management
b. Customer technical request management
c. Customer complaint handling
9. Manage the technical staff technically in:
a. Attendance, appraisals, bonus and punishment
b. Career development and training
10. Auditing, supervising , guiding and working with the technical team to accomplish all his/their technical responsibilities
11. Provide required reports to the Executive Manager on all aspects of the Technical Department.
12. All the responsibilities and duties assigned to “this position or Manager positions” by the company
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree from a university, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or Communication engineering.
2. Proven experience of managing an IT department.
3. Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
4. Experience of managing budgets.
5. Strong team leading skills.
6. Qualifying work experience and/or technical certification may substitute for the required education (ITIL, MCSE and CCSP).
7. At least 10 years of experience in technology solutions and design patterns
8. Experience of ITIL framework.
9. Demonstrate strong technical skills, the ability to learn quickly.
10. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communications skills
11. Ability to provide creative solution to problems (thinking out of the box)
12. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field from a recognized college or university
13. Qualifying work experience and/or technical certification may substitute for the required education (RHCE, MCSE and CCSP).
14. At least 7 years of technical experience in technology solutions and design patterns
15. Knowledgeable in multiple system platforms or disciplines (Linux, Windows, SAN, web server, virtualization and related fields)
16. Experience of ITIL framework including Change Control and Problem Management
17. Good awareness of IT project management
18. Exposure to operational responsibilities (ideally including data centre operations, Infrastructure production support)
19. Demonstrate strong technical skills, the ability to learn quickly.
20. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communications skills
21. Ability to provide creative solution to problems (thinking out of the box)
Key performance indicator:
• Number of tickets solve by new product
• Number of new product
• Number of complaints
• Number of tickets not solved by one shift
