Nature Arabic News will be a new publication that, for the first time, will provide translated content from Nature, the International Weekly Journal of Science, to scientists in the Arabic-speaking world in their native language. As part of this exciting new publishing venture, we are now seeking an outstanding editorial leader to become the launch Chief Editor of Nature Arabic News.
Nature Arabic News is a major new venture for Macmillan Scientific Communications (MSC). MSC is the scientific communications and custom publishing division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd., publisher of the international science journal Nature, Scientific American and the family of Nature journals (through Nature Publishing Group (NPG)). MSC has exclusive access to the editorial and production expertise of NPG and thus is able to create scientific communication solutions of the highest possible standard.
The Chief Editor will oversee the selection of all editorial content for translation; manage the Nature Arabic News editorial team and take responsibility for maximising the visibility, scientific standing and quality of Nature Arabic News. In addition to running Nature Arabic News the Chief Editor will work closely with MSC/NPG’s commercial sponsorship and advertising teams and external sponsors.
