Position: Marketing communication
Job Description:
• Build direct marketing target lists by obtaining names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as telephone directories, business directories, and lists purchased from other organizations.
• Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
• Conduct telemarketing campaigns by contacting businesses by telephone in order to solicit sales for products and services.
• Explain products and services, and answer questions from customers.
• Conduct direct mail and email campaigns on target lists
• Record direct marketing campaigns responses.
• Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
• Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.
• Respond to correspondence from customers and follow on up initial sales contacts via phone, email or direct mail.
• Maintain records of contacts and accounts.
• Deliver prepared sales talks that describe products or services, in order to encourage potential customers to purchase a product or service.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of direct marketing, telemarketing or customer service experience
• Fluency in speaking and writing English
• Possess an understanding of IT solutions and services
• Proven, demonstrable presentation skills
• Proven, demonstrable technical selling skills: Probing, listening
• Professional phone image
