AsgaTech is seeking a successful candidate to participate on a team providing Configuration Management (CM). You will be responsible for creating, controlling and maintaining CM processes, policies and Standard Procedures based on project requirements.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
Perform CM related functions (Planning, Configuration Identification, Status Accounting, Configuration Control and CM periodical Audits). 
Create work areas for configuration items.
Responsible for development of baselines as assigned. 
Control access to and distribution of documents from document repositories.
Support Software CM processes, managing SW libraries and creating builds. 
Experience with coordinating and participating in Change Control Boards and provide change control support. 
Develop weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports utilizing MSWord and other material utilizing Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and other industry recognized programs.

Requirements (Qualification and Experience):

Essential Skills and Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of CM experience and a thorough understanding of CM processes. 
Comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support. 
Proven knowledge of formal change control processes: changes, CCB experience/involvement. 
Thorough understanding of the relationship of CM functions with other engineering disciplines. 
Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers and managers 
Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment. 
Self-starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly. 
Knowledge and familiarity with SVN, VSS or CVS.
Well organized and ready to work under pressure with extra hours.
