Job Description 

Position: Senior System Analyst
Department: Systems  
Reporting to: Change Manager 

Objective:


To study, analyze and manage IT Solutions that improve the business efficiency and productivity. Solutions should conform to CIL’s Systems standards, IT Industry Best Practice and aligned with the business objectives

Skills: 

Ability to provide effective communication to customers and colleagues.
Ability to identify a problem and provide valid options in how it may be solved.
Able to follow schedule of work allocated.
Ability to provide a high standard of Customer Service.
Able to pro-actively provide ideas and improvements to team processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Provide a full Business/System Analysis function that enables delivering projects/changes that improve business efficiency and productivity
Ensure that change management tasks are performed and completed to the expected level of quality and meeting the schedule of work provided in an efficient manner.
Ensure all tasks are performed to the approved Policy, Processes and Procedures published without exception, highlighting any known deviations or incorrect processing to the team supervisor.
Ensure that all relationships, internal and external, are maintained to the highest level in order that Team goals can be achieved.
Provide timely and correct updates to the Team Supervisor of work status, ensuring that any risk of uncompleted work is escalated when known, providing options on how any schedule deviations can be recovered.
Manage projects /changes delivery. This should cover issues and risk management to ensure that the agreed plan is fulfilled

Qualification:
Good understanding of Change Management Team activities including the core process and procedures and how they fit in with other teams 
Good understanding of the Products provided and serviced to customers in order that your role can be performed at an experienced level
Good understanding Insurance, Banking and Investments provided and serviced to customers in order that your role can be performed at the experienced level
Good Understanding for Change Management Process, different techniques /best practices for business requirements gathering and technical writing
