Description Build solid relationships with internal customers, partner with them to proactively understand and serve their needs. •Develop metrics and reporting procedures. Measure, analyze, and enhance productivity, output, quality, and service level. Negotiate and set priorities, ensuring the organization is working on the highest value activities. •Ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT functions. Develop strong relationships with your team of geographically dispersed peers to ensure services and solutions are supportable, coordinated, global and fully address internal customer needs. •Manage procurement process for hardware, software and maintenance contracts. Align with and influence global purchasing agreements. •Consult with management and internal customers regarding all planned and unplanned site activities or outages. •Drive root cause analysis investigations for unplanned outages, ensure key learning’s and future preventative measures are internalized by organization
Qualifications 5 years experience,Background of operating within, or supporting a high-end distributed software development environment would be a plus. •Specific knowledge & experience with computer servers, computer grids, vitalization, compute farms, storage farms, data backup technologies, WAN/LAN solutions, monitoring and remote server management
